Cosmetic Dermatology
Look like your best self.
Good cosmetic dermatology should respect your features, your age and your own definition of looking your best — and it should be guided by someone who understands skin medically.

Philosophy
Conservative, transparent, individualized
Dr. Gaul approaches aesthetic treatment the way she approaches medicine: by assessing what is actually happening, explaining the options honestly, and starting conservatively enough that results can be refined rather than reversed.
Sometimes the right recommendation is a treatment. Sometimes it is better skincare. Sometimes it is waiting. And sometimes the right answer is a procedure another specialist performs better — in which case we will tell you.
The recommendation always comes before the sale.
Assessment
Skin quality first, then contour
Skin changes in several ways at once: collagen declines, texture roughens, pigment becomes uneven, vessels become visible, volume shifts and support loosens. Treating one of those while ignoring the others is why some results look done rather than good.
A cosmetic consultation ($150) is a real appointment: an assessment of your skin and anatomy, a discussion of what bothers you, and a staged plan with honest expectations and clear pricing before anything is scheduled.
Expectations
What we will and won’t promise
We will tell you what we believe a treatment can achieve for your skin, and what it cannot. Individual results vary, cosmetic outcomes are never guaranteed, and no treatment here is presented as a substitute for surgery when surgery is what your goal requires.
Cosmetic services are not covered by insurance and are paid at the time of booking. Current pricing is published on our cosmetic pricing page.
